Star-Lord, also known as Peter Quill, is a prominent character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, best known as the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He is portrayed by Chris Pratt.

Quill's story begins with his abduction from Earth as a child, following the death of his mother. He was subsequently raised by the Ravagers, a group of space pirates led by Yondu Udonta.

As Star-Lord, Quill becomes a skilled pilot and tactician, known for his quick wit, love of Earth music, and signature element guns. He is instrumental in forming the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Star-Lord first appeared in the 2014 film *Guardians of the Galaxy*.
