Oliver Queen, as portrayed in The CW's "Arrow," is a billionaire playboy who, after being presumed dead for five years following a shipwreck, returns to Starling City a changed man.
Haunted by his experiences on the island of Lian Yu, Oliver becomes a hooded vigilante known as the Arrow (later Green Arrow), dedicated to fighting crime and corruption within his city.
His first appearance in the Arrowverse was in the pilot episode of "Arrow" in 2012. Trained in combat, archery, and survival skills, he uses his newfound abilities to protect the innocent while grappling with his past and the secrets he keeps.
