Gamora, portrayed by Zoe Saldana in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), first appeared in the film Guardians of the Galaxy (2014). She is the adopted daughter of Thanos and the last of her species, the Zen-Whoberis.

Raised as a deadly assassin, Gamora initially served Thanos, carrying out his destructive missions across the galaxy. However, she eventually turned against him, seeking to undo the harm he had caused. Her past experiences instilled in her a strong moral compass, leading her to fight for the innocent and oppose tyranny.

Gamora joined the Guardians of the Galaxy, becoming a vital member of the team.
