Yondu Udonta is a fictional character portrayed by Michael Rooker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He is a prominent figure in the Guardians of the Galaxy films.
In the MCU, Yondu is the leader of the Ravagers, a group of space pirates. He abducted a young Peter Quill from Earth and raised him, though he ultimately didn't deliver Quill to his intended recipient, Ego.
