Biography:

Yondu Udonta is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), portrayed by Michael Rooker.

He is introduced as the leader of the Ravagers, a group of space pirates, and a surrogate father figure to Peter Quill/Star-Lord. While initially presented as antagonistic, Yondu's complex motivations and hidden affection for Quill are gradually revealed.

Yondu's first appearance in the MCU is in the film *Guardians of the Galaxy*.

His character arc culminates in *Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2*, where he sacrifices himself to save Quill, solidifying his role as a hero and a loving father figure. He uses a Yaka Arrow controlled by whistling to dispatch enemies.
