Assassin's Creed

Shay Patrick Cormac is a fictional character first appearing in Assassin's Creed Rogue. He is an Irish-American Assassin-turned-Templar during the French and Indian War.

Initially a promising member of the Colonial Brotherhood of Assassins, Shay grows disillusioned after a mission to Lisbon leads to a devastating earthquake, which he believes was triggered by a Piece of Eden he sought under the Brotherhood's orders.

Feeling betrayed and manipulated by the Assassins' pursuit of these artifacts, Shay steals a manuscript containing the locations of other Pieces of Eden. Hunted by his former brothers, he eventually joins the Templar Order, dedicating himself to preventing the Assassins from acquiring these powerful artifacts and causing further destruction.

As a Templar, Shay becomes a ruthless hunter of Assassins, using his knowledge of their tactics and training against them. His actions significantly weaken the Colonial Brotherhood, paving the way for events that unfold in later Assassin's Creed games.
