Assassin's Creed
Biography:
Shay Patrick Cormac is a central character in Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Rogue. He was born in 1731 in New York, during the colonial period, and initially joined the Assassin Brotherhood.
Cormac's early life is not heavily detailed, but his skills in navigation and combat led him to become a promising Assassin recruit. He worked under Achilles Davenport in the North American colonies, taking part in various missions to uphold the Assassin's Creed.
His perspective shifted dramatically after a disastrous mission to retrieve an artifact. The event, which caused a devastating earthquake, led Cormac to believe the Assassins were endangering the world. He became disillusioned with the Brotherhood's methods and leadership.
This fundamental disagreement led to Cormac's betrayal and defection. Marked as a traitor, he was hunted by his former comrades. He eventually allied himself with the Templar Order, dedicating his life to hunting down Assassins and preventing them from obtaining Pieces of Eden, believing they were too dangerous in their hands.
Cormac's journey is one of shifting allegiances and moral ambiguity. He becomes a staunch Templar, using his Assassin training to fight against his former allies and ultimately shaping the future of the Assassin-Templar conflict in North America.
