Hyperion is a character appearing in Marvel Comics, often presented as a pastiche of Superman. There have been multiple versions of Hyperion from different alternate realities within the Marvel Multiverse.
The first Hyperion, , debuted in *The Avengers* #69 (October 1969). This version originated from a world where he was the sole survivor of a dying race and was raised to conquer. He is a member of the Squadron Sinister, villains created to resemble the Justice League.
Another prominent Hyperion, , is from Earth-712 and is a member of the Squadron Supreme, a heroic team. This Hyperion, also possessing Superman-like abilities, is often depicted as a noble leader dedicated to protecting his world.
A third incarnation, , from Earth-13034, was orphaned and found by an old man. As he grew up, he had trouble fitting in and was frequently bullied. This version has gone by the name Marcus Milton and was part of the Avengers team for some time.
