Hyperion is the name shared by several characters in Marvel Comics, most of whom are pastiches of Superman. Generally, Hyperion possesses superhuman strength, speed, flight, and heat vision.

The first Hyperion, Zhib-Ran, appeared in *The Avengers* #69 (October 1969) as a member of the Squadron Sinister. This team, created by the Grandmaster, battled the Avengers.
