Biography:
Dr. Kirk Langstrom, a zoologist specializing in bats, is Man-Bat. Frustrated by his increasing deafness, Langstrom developed a serum intended to grant humans bats' enhanced sonar abilities.
Ignoring warnings, Langstrom tested the serum on himself. While it cured his deafness, it also transformed him into a monstrous, bat-like creature: Man-Bat. The transformation often leaves Langstrom with limited intellect and heightened aggression.
Man-Bat appeared in The Lego Batman Movie (2017). In the film, he is voiced by Chris McKenna and appears as one of the villains attacking Gotham City.
