Alexander "Lex" Luthor Jr. is a character in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). This version of Lex Luthor first appeared in the film *Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice*.

Luthor, portrayed by Jesse Eisenberg, is a young, eccentric, and socially awkward billionaire industrialist. He is the head of LexCorp, inheriting the company from his father, Lex Luthor Sr.

Driven by a deep-seated resentment towards Superman and a desire to expose him as a false god, Luthor manipulates both Superman and Batman into conflict with each other. He is highly intelligent and calculated, using his resources and influence to orchestrate events that serve his agenda.
