General Grievous, a cyborg Supreme Commander of the Separatist Droid Army during the Clone Wars, was originally a Kaleesh warrior named Qymaen jai Sheelal. Grievous harbored resentment toward the Republic due to past conflicts on his home planet.
Recruited by Count Dooku, Qymaen underwent extensive cybernetic enhancements after a shuttle crash orchestrated by the Separatists. His organic body was replaced with a duranium chassis, giving him superhuman speed, strength, and the ability to wield multiple lightsabers. Grievous retained his Kaleesh eyes, which glowed with a sinister yellow light.
Characterized by his rasping voice and brutal efficiency, Grievous became a feared Jedi hunter. He often wore a tattered cape and suffered battle damage throughout the war, adding to his menacing appearance. His tactical prowess and lightsaber skills made him a formidable opponent, despite his reliance on droids and inherent weaknesses within his cybernetic frame.
Grievous met his end at the hands of Obi-Wan Kenobi on Utapau, falling victim to blaster fire that ignited his vulnerable internal organs.
