Biography:

White Tiger is a mantle taken up by several characters in Marvel Comics. The first White Tiger, and perhaps best known, is Hector Ayala. He gained his abilities from mystical tiger amulets.

Hector Ayala first appeared in Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #19 (December 1975). He initially fought crime in New York City using his enhanced strength, speed, stamina, and agility, granted by the amulets of the Tiger God.

Later characters to take up the mantle include Ayala's sister, Ava Ayala, who also uses the Tiger amulets.
