Killer Klowns from Outer Space, often shortened to Killer Klowns, refers to a species of extraterrestrial beings who are the primary antagonists of the 1988 cult classic film of the same name.

These Klowns are not mere clowns, but malevolent creatures disguised as such. They arrive on Earth in a circus tent-shaped spaceship, with the intention of capturing and consuming humans, whom they turn into cotton candy using specialized rayguns.

Each Klown possesses a distinct and exaggerated clown appearance, often with grotesque features and a unique, often deadly, method of attack. Examples include shadow puppets that trap victims, popcorn that acts as deadly projectiles, and balloon animals that ensnare their prey.

While the original film is their primary appearance, the Killer Klowns have gained popularity in pop culture. They've appeared in some smaller games and gained a bit of popularity with their horror roots. The characters' memorable designs and absurdly violent methods have cemented their place as iconic horror movie villains.
