Jay, also known as the Ninja of Lightning, is a prominent character in the LEGO Ninjago theme, first appearing in the initial wave of sets in 2011. He is characterized by his blue ninja gi and mastery over the element of lightning.

An inventive and quick-witted individual, Jay often provides comic relief within the ninja team. His skills extend beyond elemental powers, as he is also a talented inventor and tinkerer, frequently building gadgets and vehicles to aid the ninja in their missions. He is the adopted son of Ed and Edna Walker, who run a scrapyard.
