Jay, often referred to as Jay Walker or by his ninja title of the Lightning Ninja, is a core member of the LEGO Ninjago team. Originally abandoned as a baby at a junkyard, he was raised by Ed and Edna Walker, who ran the scrapyard.

He possesses the elemental power of Lightning, which grants him abilities such as generating electricity, super-speed, and enhanced reflexes. Jay is known for his quick wit, inventive nature, and love of technology.

Prior to becoming a ninja, Jay was an aspiring inventor. His tinkering skills prove invaluable to the team, as he frequently modifies vehicles and creates gadgets for their missions. He's often the comic relief, using humor to defuse tense situations.
