Crossbones, is a character appearing in the MCU. He is portrayed by actor Frank Grillo.

Brock Rumlow, first appeared as Crossbones in *Captain America: The Winter Soldier* (2014). He is initially a STRIKE agent working for S.H.I.E.L.D. and secretly HYDRA.

After the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., Rumlow becomes a mercenary. He reappears in *Captain America: Civil War* (2016), attempting to steal a biological weapon in Lagos, before being defeated by Captain America and sacrificing himself in an explosion.
