Kabuto Yakushi is a character first appearing in the Naruto manga, and later prominently featured in Naruto Shippuden. He initially served as a spy for Orochimaru, gathering intelligence and acting as a right-hand man.

Raised in an orphanage, Kabuto was skilled in medical ninjutsu and used this to his advantage. His intelligence-gathering activities extended throughout the shinobi world, making him a valuable asset to Orochimaru. He participated in the Chunin Exams arc, showcasing his deceptive nature and tactical abilities.

After Orochimaru's death, Kabuto sought greater power, experimenting on himself and integrating Orochimaru's cells, as well as DNA of other powerful shinobi. This transformation led to a snake-like appearance and enhanced abilities. He played a significant role in the Fourth Shinobi World War, using the Impure World Reincarnation technique to summon powerful deceased ninja to fight against the Allied Shinobi Forces.
