The Damaged Cyberman, also referred to as "Handles," is a unique Cyberman head salvaged by the Eleventh Doctor in the episode "Closing Time." This partial Cyberman lacks a body and is heavily damaged, specifically missing its emotional inhibitor.

Due to its damaged state, Handles develops a personality, humorously interacting with the Doctor. While still retaining Cyberman programming, it is capable of independent thought and even exhibits a degree of affection toward the Doctor, assisting him against a Cyberman invasion.

Handles acts as a strategic advisor and companion to the Doctor during the episode, providing vital information and logistical support. Ultimately, Handles sacrifices itself to overload the Cybermen's telecommunications system, allowing the Doctor to defeat them.

The character is memorable for its unexpected comedic relief and illustrates the potential for personality to emerge even within the rigid conformity of the Cybermen when their systems are compromised.
