Biography:
The Grand Inquisitor, a prominent antagonist in the Star Wars universe, first appeared in the animated TV show, *Star Wars Rebels*. He is a Pau'an male who serves as the chief Inquisitor of the Galactic Empire.
His primary task is to hunt down and eliminate any remaining Jedi Knights who survived Order 66, as well as any Force-sensitive children who could potentially become Jedi. The Inquisitor leads the Imperial Inquisitors, a group of Force-sensitive agents dedicated to serving the Emperor.
A live-action version of the Grand Inquisitor was portrayed by Rupert Friend in the *Obi-Wan Kenobi* series on Disney+. His ruthless nature and dedication to the Empire remain central to his characterization, even in this new medium.
