Biography:
Harvey Dent was Gotham City's charismatic and incorruptible District Attorney. A staunch ally of Batman and Commissioner Gordon, he was instrumental in bringing down numerous organized crime figures, earning him the nickname "White Knight."
During a trial of mob boss Sal Maroni, Dent was attacked and disfigured by Maroni, who threw acid at him. The left side of Dent's face was horrifically scarred, both physically and psychologically.
The trauma shattered Dent's psyche, leading him to develop a split personality. He became obsessed with duality and chance, making decisions based on the flip of a two-headed coin, one side scarred like his face, the other untouched. This transformed him into the criminal known as Two-Face.
As Two-Face, Dent is a ruthless and unpredictable villain. While his crimes are often tied to a warped sense of justice based on the coin's outcome, his actions are ultimately driven by the madness and resentment stemming from his disfigurement and the perceived betrayal of the city he once served.
