Biography:

Karl Mordo, often referred to as Baron Mordo, is a character featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He first appeared in the film Dr. Strange (2016), portrayed by actor Chiwetel Ejiofor.

In the MCU, Mordo is initially presented as a Master of the Mystic Arts and a mentor to Dr. Stephen Strange at Kamar-Taj. He is a dedicated and skilled sorcerer, loyal to the Ancient One and the established rules of magic.

However, Mordo becomes disillusioned with the Ancient One's use of power from the Dark Dimension and, following her death, resolves to eliminate other sorcerers he deems as abusers of magic, setting him on a path as an antagonist. His character arc explores themes of morality and the perceived corruption of magical power.
