Karl Mordo, also known as Baron Mordo, is a Master of the Mystic Arts originating from Earth-838. He served as the Sorcerer Supreme of his reality, taking on the mantle after the death of that world's Ancient One.

This version of Mordo, portrayed by Chiwetel Ejiofor, first appeared in the film *Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness* (2022) as a powerful antagonist. He believes Doctor Strange to be a threat to the multiverse due to Strange's repeated incursions and attempts to eliminate perceived threats. He serves as a member of Earth-838's Illuminati.

Unlike the Mordo seen earlier in the MCU, this version seems to hold a more rigid and less forgiving view of magic and its use, particularly regarding actions that could destabilize the fabric of reality. He proves to be a formidable opponent to Doctor Strange, showcasing mastery of various magical disciplines.
