Biography:

Cape Mario is a power-up form of Mario, the protagonist of the Super Mario series, first appearing in Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. This transformation is achieved by acquiring the Cape Feather item.

When Mario obtains the Cape Feather, he dons a yellow cape that grants him the ability to fly, glide, and perform a spinning attack. The spinning attack can defeat enemies and break certain blocks. The Cape allows for greater aerial control and maneuverability than previous flying power-ups like the Super Leaf.

The Cape Mario form has become one of Mario's iconic transformations, frequently reappearing in subsequent Super Mario games, including the Super Smash Bros. series, though often in a modified capacity or as a limited-time item.
