Fleetway Super Sonic is a powerful and malevolent version of Sonic the Hedgehog, originating from the UK-based Sonic the Hedgehog comic book published by Fleetway Editions, not Sega or the game.
This Super Sonic is a separate entity from Sonic himself. He is born from Sonic's negative emotions and takes over his body when Sonic transforms using the Chaos Emeralds. This creates a Jekyll-and-Hyde scenario, in that Sonic becomes evil, violent, and unpredictable.
Fleetway Super Sonic first appears in Sonic the Hedgehog #23. While he has Sonic's speed and powers, his immense strength and lack of moral constraints make him a terrifying threat, even to Sonic's friends.
