Biography:

Mister Negative, also known as Mr Negative, first appeared in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #546 (2008). His real identity is Martin Li, a Chinese immigrant who was smuggled into the United States.

He gained his powers after being subjected to an experimental drug by the Maggia criminal organization. This drug, intended to replicate the powers of Cloak and Dagger, fractured his personality and granted him two distinct personas: the benevolent philanthropist Martin Li and the villainous Mister Negative.

As Mister Negative, he possesses superhuman strength, speed, and agility. He can also generate and manipulate a darkforce energy that enhances his physical abilities, corrupts others, and heals individuals. He commands a criminal empire in New York City and is a formidable opponent to Spider-Man.
