Biography:

Mazinger Z is a giant super robot piloted by Koji Kabuto. Created by Go Nagai, the character first appeared in the manga series Mazinger Z, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1972.

Koji pilots Mazinger Z from a hovercraft called the "Hover Pilder", which docks into Mazinger Z's head to control it. The robot is constructed from "Super-Alloy Z", a fictional metal resistant to almost any attack.

Mazinger Z defends humanity from the mechanical beasts created by Dr. Hell, a mad scientist seeking to rule the world. The series and character were highly influential in popularizing the giant robot genre in anime and manga.
