Han Solo is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, first appearing in Episode 4: A New Hope, also known as the Original Trilogy.

He is introduced as a smuggler and pilot of the Millennium Falcon, accompanied by his Wookiee co-pilot, Chewbacca. Initially motivated by financial gain, Han is hired by Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi to transport them to Alderaan.

Throughout the Original Trilogy, Han becomes increasingly involved in the Rebel Alliance's fight against the Galactic Empire. He evolves from a self-serving mercenary to a courageous leader, demonstrating bravery and loyalty to his friends. Han forms a romantic relationship with Princess Leia Organa.

A notable variation of the character is "Han Solo (Black Vest, Light Flesh)", referring to a LEGO minifigure depiction which represents his appearance in the films.
