Biography:

Han Solo, portrayed by Harrison Ford, is a central character in the *Star Wars* film franchise. He first appeared in *Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope* (1977).

Solo begins as a cynical smuggler and pilot, deeply in debt to the gangster Jabba the Hutt. He is the captain of the Millennium Falcon, accompanied by his Wookiee co-pilot, Chewbacca.

Over the course of the original trilogy, Han evolves from a self-serving rogue into a committed member of the Rebel Alliance, fighting against the Galactic Empire. He develops a romantic relationship with Princess Leia Organa and plays a crucial role in the Rebel victory.

His story continues in the sequel trilogy, where he is estranged from Leia and their son, Ben Solo (Kylo Ren). Han maintains his roguish demeanor, though he continues to show that he has a hidden heart of gold, until his death at the hands of his son.
