Biography:
Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III is the protagonist of the "How To Train Your Dragon" franchise, appearing first in the 2010 film *How to Train Your Dragon*.
He is the initially awkward and scrawny son of Stoick the Vast, the chieftain of the Viking tribe of Berk. He sets himself apart due to his intelligence and inventive nature. His initial attempts to prove himself as a dragon slayer backfire, leading him to secretly befriend and eventually train a Night Fury dragon he names Toothless.
Over the course of the film series and the accompanying TV shows, Hiccup evolves from an outcast to a skilled dragon rider and ultimately the chieftain of Berk, advocating for peace and cooperation between Vikings and dragons.
