Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III is the protagonist of the "How To Train Your Dragon" franchise, first appearing in the 2010 film of the same name. He is the son of Stoick the Vast, the chieftain of the Viking tribe of Berk.
Initially portrayed as a clumsy and awkward teenager, Hiccup struggles to fit in with his tribe's warrior culture. His innovative mind and compassionate nature lead him to befriend a Night Fury dragon he names Toothless, challenging the Vikings' long-held belief that dragons are enemies.
Throughout the film series and subsequent television shows, Hiccup matures into a skilled dragon rider, inventor, and ultimately, the chieftain of Berk. He dedicates his life to fostering peace between Vikings and dragons, striving to create a harmonious society built on understanding and mutual respect.
