Biography:
Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III is the protagonist of the "How To Train Your Dragon" franchise, first appearing in the 2010 DreamWorks Animation film of the same name.
He is the son of Stoick the Vast, the chieftain of the Viking tribe on the Isle of Berk. Initially portrayed as an awkward and scrawny teenager, Hiccup struggles to fit in with his tribe's dragon-slaying traditions.
His life changes when he befriends and eventually trains a Night Fury dragon he names Toothless, challenging the established norms and paving the way for peaceful coexistence between Vikings and dragons. Throughout the "How To Train Your Dragon" movie trilogy and associated TV series, Hiccup matures into a skilled dragon rider, inventor, and ultimately, the chieftain of Berk.
