Biography:
Eleven, portrayed by Millie Bobby Brown, is a central character in the TV Show Stranger Things, first appearing in the initial episode, "Chapter One: The Vanishing of Will Byers" (2016).
Born Jane Ives, Eleven was subjected to experiments at Hawkins National Laboratory due to her psychokinetic abilities. These experiments included sensory deprivation tanks which allowed her to remotely view distant locations.
After escaping the lab, she encounters Mike, Dustin, and Lucas, who learn of her abilities and help her evade the lab's personnel. Eleven becomes integral to their efforts in protecting Hawkins from the threats of the Upside Down.
Throughout the series, Eleven struggles to understand her powers and her identity, developing relationships with the other children and eventually with Jim Hopper, who becomes her adoptive father.
