Eleven, often referred to as "El," is a central character in the science fiction horror series Stranger Things. Played by Millie Bobby Brown, she is a young girl with psychokinetic and telepathic abilities.

Eleven escaped from Hawkins National Laboratory, where she was subjected to experiments designed to weaponize her powers. These experiments were conducted under the supervision of Dr. Martin Brenner, whom Eleven refers to as "Papa."

Upon escaping, she is found by Mike Wheeler and his friends, who shelter her and help her evade capture. Eleven quickly becomes a crucial member of their group, using her abilities to protect them from the supernatural threats emanating from the Upside Down.

Throughout the series, Eleven struggles to understand her powers and her identity, gradually forming close bonds with Mike, Hopper (who becomes her adoptive father), and other characters. Her journey is marked by loss, self-discovery, and the constant battle against the forces of the Upside Down.
