Biography:

Buzz Lightyear is a central character in Disney/Pixar's Toy Story franchise. He first appears in the original 1995 film, Toy Story.

He is a space ranger action figure, part of the Space Ranger Corps. Initially, Buzz is unaware that he is a toy, believing himself to be a real space ranger on a mission to return to his home planet.

Buzz's design is inspired by the Apollo program and astronauts. He features numerous gadgets and catchphrases, most notably "To infinity...and beyond!" His primary color scheme is white and green.

Throughout the Toy Story films, Buzz undergoes significant character development. He confronts the reality of being a toy, grapples with his identity, and ultimately embraces his role as a beloved friend and companion.
