Missy, short for "Mistress," is a recurring character in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. Introduced in the eighth series (2014), she is a female incarnation of the Master, the Doctor's arch-nemesis.
Portrayed primarily by Michelle Gomez, Missy is mischievous, flamboyant, and utterly ruthless.
