Biography:
Max Rockatansky, best known as "Mad Max," is a fictional character first appearing in the 1979 film Mad Max. Played by Mel Gibson, he is initially a Main Force Patrol officer in a decaying Australian society.
Driven to a brutal pursuit of vengeance after the violent murder of his wife and child by a biker gang, Max loses faith in the system and embarks on a path of survival and retribution in the post-apocalyptic wasteland that Australia has become.
He becomes a hardened wanderer, often reluctantly helping others while battling ruthless gangs and seeking to maintain a semblance of humanity amidst the chaos. His iconic appearance features a black leather outfit and a supercharged V8 Interceptor pursuit vehicle.
