Toxin is the name of several fictional characters appearing in Marvel Comics, the first of which is a symbiote.

The Toxin symbiote is the spawn of the Carnage symbiote. It is unique among symbiotes in that it was delivered directly to a human host, Patrick Mulligan, while Carnage was in police custody. This unusual birth gave Toxin a stronger connection to its first host than most symbiotes, which influenced its moral development.

Toxin first appeared in Venom/Carnage #1 (2004). Initially, Mulligan struggled to control the symbiote's violent tendencies, but eventually, he dedicated himself to using its powers for good. The Toxin symbiote is considered one of the most powerful symbiotes, possessing abilities similar to Venom and Carnage, but potentially even stronger.
