Biography:
Android 18, originally named Lazuli, is a prominent character in the Dragon Ball franchise. She was initially introduced as an antagonist in the Androids Saga of Dragon Ball Z.
Lazuli and her twin brother, Lapis (Android 17), were unwillingly transformed into cyborgs by Dr. Gero, an evil scientist seeking revenge on Goku. They were designed to be powerful, bio-mechanical weapons.
Following her activation, Android 18 displayed rebellious behavior, defying Dr. Gero's commands and ultimately killing him. She then pursued her own agenda, seeking to test her power against the Z Fighters.
Over time, Android 18's relationship with the Z Fighters softened. She eventually married Krillin and had a daughter, Marron. She became an ally, fighting alongside the Z Fighters against various threats to Earth.
Android 18 possesses superhuman strength, speed, and endurance. She also has access to infinite energy, granted by a reactor power core installed by Dr. Gero. She remains a significant character in the ongoing Dragon Ball storyline.
