Biography:
Android 18, also known as Lazuli when she was human, is a prominent character in the Dragon Ball franchise. She made her first appearance in the manga series during the Android Saga, specifically in chapter 349.
Initially created as a weapon by Dr. Gero to kill Goku, she and her twin brother, Android 17, are cyborgs modified from human form. Her human body was given superhuman strength and enhanced with mechanical components.
Over the course of the series, Android 18's allegiance shifts. After being released by Android 17 she ends up marrying Krillin and starting a family. She becomes a valuable ally to the Z Fighters, participating in various tournaments and battles alongside them. In Dragon Ball Super, she continues to support the team, contributing her strength and fighting skills.
