Biography:

Han Solo, a pivotal character in the Star Wars saga, began his career as a smuggler and pilot. Born on Corellia, he escaped a life of servitude and joined the Imperial Academy, only to be dishonorably discharged for saving Chewbacca's life. This act forged a lifelong partnership between the two.

Captaining the Millennium Falcon, Solo and Chewbacca built a reputation as skilled smugglers, often skirting the edges of legality. Their involvement with the Rebel Alliance began when they transported Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi to Alderaan, inadvertently thrusting themselves into the galactic conflict.

During the events of The Empire Strikes Back, Solo's charm and bravado were tested by the relentless pursuit of the Empire. Captured by Darth Vader on Bespin, he was betrayed by Lando Calrissian and ultimately subjected to carbon freezing. This act preserved him as a bounty for Jabba the Hutt, setting the stage for his eventual rescue in Return of the Jedi.
