Biography:
Tron is a Grid Program, originally created by Alan Bradley in the original Tron movie (1982). He is a security program designed to monitor communications between the real world and the ENCOM mainframe.
In Tron: Legacy (2010), it is revealed that Tron was re-purposed by Clu to be his enforcer after the coup within the Grid. This led to Tron's corruption, eventually transforming him into Rinzler.
As Rinzler, Tron serves as Clu's second-in-command, fiercely loyal and formidable in combat. His identity as Tron is eventually restored during a battle with Sam Flynn. He ends up sacrificing himself, merging with Clu to destroy him.
