N'Jadaka, born in Oakland, California and later known as Erik "Killmonger" Stevens, is a complex antagonist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is the son of Prince N'Jobu, brother to King T'Chaka of Wakanda. N'Jobu was killed by his brother after revealing his plans to use Wakandan technology to empower oppressed people globally, a betrayal that left young Erik orphaned and fueled by vengeance.

Killmonger, abandoned by Wakanda, endured a harsh upbringing marked by racial injustice and systemic inequality in America. He excelled in combat and strategy, eventually earning a degree from MIT and becoming a highly skilled black-ops soldier. He developed a deep resentment towards Wakanda for their isolationism, believing they had abandoned their responsibility to help others.

Driven by a desire to liberate people of African descent worldwide, Killmonger returned to Wakanda to challenge T'Challa for the throne. After successfully defeating T'Challa in ritual combat and claiming the Black Panther mantle, he set about his plans to distribute Wakandan weapons globally to incite a global uprising. Though ultimately defeated, Killmonger's motivations, rooted in historical oppression, forced Wakanda to re-evaluate its place in the world.
