Bleez, also known as the Furious Angel, is a character from the DC Comics universe, primarily associated with the Red Lantern Corps.
Her first appearance was in Green Lantern #28 (2008). Before becoming a Red Lantern, Bleez was a beautiful and compassionate princess on the planet Havania. Her life was tragically upended when she was captured, tortured, and psychologically scarred by members of the Sinestro Corps.
The trauma ignited immense rage within her. This fury attracted a Red Lantern ring, transforming her into a Red Lantern and channeling her rage into the Red Lantern Corps. Like other Red Lanterns, the ring replaced her blood with corrosive, rage-fueled plasma, and she initially lacked higher cognitive functions, acting primarily on instinct.
Over time, Bleez regained a degree of control and became one of the more prominent and complex members of the Red Lantern Corps. Although driven by rage, glimpses of her former self and a desire for justice sometimes surface, creating internal conflict. Her appearance is marked by red skin, large wings, and a perpetually enraged expression.
