Biography:
Black Bolt, whose real name is Blackagar Boltagon, is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, he first appeared in Fantastic Four #45 (December 1965).
He is the king of the Inhumans, a race of genetically altered superhumans. Black Bolt possesses the power of a sonic scream of devastating proportions. His voice is so powerful that even a whisper can level cities. As such, he must remain in near-constant silence to control his abilities.
Due to the dangerous nature of his powers, Black Bolt is a reserved and thoughtful leader. He is usually accompanied by his wife Medusa, who acts as his voice and interpreter, using her hair to communicate telepathically.
