Biography:

Han Solo, as seen in The Empire Strikes Back, is a Corellian smuggler and captain of the Millennium Falcon. He is deeply in debt to Jabba the Hutt, a powerful crime lord, due to a failed smuggling run.

Initially motivated by profit and self-preservation, Han is reluctantly drawn into the Rebel Alliance's fight against the Galactic Empire. He assists Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa in their escape from Hoth after an Imperial attack.

During their travels, a romantic tension builds between Han and Leia. His cynical exterior starts to crack, revealing a growing sense of responsibility and loyalty to his friends.

Han's reckless nature leads him and his companions into dangerous situations, including a confrontation with the bounty hunter Boba Fett and ultimately, his capture by Darth Vader on Bespin. He is then turned over to Boba Fett to be delivered to Jabba the Hutt, his fate left uncertain.
