Prince Adam is the alter ego of He-Man, the central character in the Masters of the Universe franchise. He first appeared in the 1983 Filmation cartoon He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
By day, Prince Adam portrays himself as a somewhat clumsy and unmotivated royal, concealing his true strength and abilities. This facade allows him to move freely and observe threats to Eternia without attracting unwanted attention.
When danger arises, Adam raises his Power Sword and proclaims, "By the Power of Grayskull...I have the Power!" Transforming into He-Man, he becomes a powerful warrior dedicated to protecting Eternia from the evil Skeletor and his forces.
