Biography:
Bane (BigFig), typically depicted in larger LEGO form to emphasize his formidable size, is a complex villain from DC Comics, primarily known as a major adversary of Batman. His origins trace back to the Peña Duro prison on the fictional Caribbean island of Santa Prisca, where he served his father's life sentence.
Experimentation with the super-steroid Venom, forced upon him in prison, granted Bane immense strength and enhanced physical capabilities, but also a debilitating dependence. He orchestrated a cunning plan to travel to Gotham City with the sole purpose of defeating Batman, which he famously achieved by breaking Batman's back, leaving him temporarily crippled.
