Gamora, portrayed by Zoe Saldana, is a key member of the Guardians of the Galaxy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). She is the adopted daughter of Thanos, who trained her to be a highly skilled assassin.

Originally serving Thanos, Gamora eventually turned against him after witnessing his cruelty and genocidal ambitions. She sought to prevent him from acquiring the Infinity Stones and unleashing their power.

Gamora's first appearance in the MCU was in the film *Guardians of the Galaxy* (2014), where she joins forces with Star-Lord, Rocket, Groot, and Drax. She is known for her combat prowess, strategic thinking, and complex relationship with her adoptive sister, Nebula.
