Iceman, also known as Robert "Bobby" Drake, is a mutant superhero appearing in Marvel Comics. He is best known as a core member of the X-Men.
Iceman possesses the power to drastically lower his external and internal body temperature, projecting intense cold. This allows him to freeze moisture in the air and form structures of ice. He can also transform his body into living ice, granting him enhanced durability and the ability to manipulate his icy form.
Iceman first appeared in *X-Men* #1 (September 1963). He was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby. He's a mainstay of the X-Men team in nearly every iteration of the group in comics and animation.
